Our team is made up of the following members:
Esther Aznar Muñoz
Executive Director in charge of administration, organization of services, and performance of agreements achieved between the Governing Board and the Board of Trustees.
Esther holds a Degree in Medicine and worked for 12 years as an Associate Researcher in Infectious Diseases. She has held several posts in the pharmaceutical industry, at both national and international level.
Herminia Esteban Martín
As Deputy Director of Scientific Research, Herminia develops and manages the Foundation’s ongoing projects. She is also the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.
Herminia holds a Degree in Biology and has undergone additional training in different areas of clinical research and management of Foundations. She has broad experience in the coordination, management, start-up, and monitoring of clinical trials and multicenter studies.
Almudena Álvarez-Cascos Rojas
Almudena is responsible for administrative management and organization of events. She acts as executive assistant to the whole team and coordinates the administrative and logistics management of training activities, conferences, seminars, courses, and meetings.
Almudena has studied Management Secretarial and has broad experience, among others, as Personal Assistant of Senior Executives, team management and training.
As CRA Lead she assumes the leadership and the management of the operative and executive part of the projects of investigation of the Foundation. In addition she facilitates the integration and participation of the different groups of SEIMC in networks and international projects.
Maria holds a Degree in Pharmacy and has broad experience in monitoring, start-up, coordination and comprehensive management of multicenter and international clinical trials, as well as other research projects.
Marta de Miguel Montero
In her role as a Clinical Research Associate, Marta initiates, monitors, follows up, and closes clinical trials and other types of scientific research studies.
Marta holds a degree in Biology and a Master on Monitoring of Clinical Trials and has broad experience in the monitoring, follow-up, and quality control of research projects.
Patricia González Muñiz
In her role as a Clinical Research Associate, Patricia initiates, monitors, follows up, and closes clinical trials and other types of scientific research studies.
Patricia holds a degree in Biology and a Master on Monitoring of Clinical Trials .
Mercedes González García
Responsible of Legal Affairs, labor Law and accountingstudies.
Mercedes holds a degree in Law, and has broad experience as Advisor in Legal Affairs, Labor Law and accounting.
FSG also cooperates with a network of external professionals who provide support in areas as varied as legal affairs, accounting, information technology, statistics, and methodology.
